SMF Experiences

 

The University of New Mexico  Department of Music Faculty will provide

approximately 23 hrs of professional instruction to serious performers on all orchestral instruments, ages 14-21.  Musical activities to include:

 

· Daily Chamber Music  Coaching

· Master Classes and Sectional Coaching

· Musicianship

· Audition Techniques

· Theory and Sight-singing

· Instrument Maintenance & Care

· Full Symphony Orchestra, Large and Small Ensemble  Performances

· Student Performances at  Keller Hall at UNM

· Concerto Competition Winners to perform in a special recital

· Faculty Performances at Keller Hall at UNM

*value of instruction: $1920 based on comparative rate for Albuquerque private teachers of $30 per half hour of instruction
